Designers should read is a website dedicated to non-design related reading recommendations for designers. Because, well, designers should read…everyone should. Every book club deserves good branding.

Creating an identity for this book club was a fun personal project from the Team at Polite Type. We decided to reference the comfort of sitting and reading while visually referencing that ultimate of design paradigms (black & white.)

Final thoughts

‍While this project has often taken a back seat to our client work, we are still excited by the idea and work that exists. Books are a really important influence on the work that we do and we love finding ways to share our excitement and enthusiasm for reading.
